A. Point 2 Points will monitor just about anything with an IP address. We support SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) or ICMP (Ping). This includes your routers, switches, wireless access devices, servers, PBX's, and more.

Q. How Does Point 2 Points Connect To Our Network?

A. We access your company's network via a secure IPSEC tunnel or Frame-Relay connection. This provides a secure, safe connection that allows us to only see the devices we monitor while ensuring the safety of your information.

Q. How Secure is an IPSEC Tunnel?

Our staff includes Certified Information System Security Professional's (CISSP) and we use only CISCO VPN and PIX firewall technology to insure that your data is safe and secure. Any connection is certified to meet stringent HIPAA standards using 3DES encryption.

Q. How Do I Access the System?

Point 2 Points will provide a simple portal access page, P2P Portal, or you can put a login on your WEB site with our WEB portal kit. We built it so you would never need to go to training, so one user name and password is all you need to access the entire system and reports are available with just a point and click. In addition, for greater security users can have permissions to access only the part of the system they need.

Q. Do I Need A Different Password to Login From a PDA or Desktop Connector?

No. You use one login regardless if you access via a WEB browser, desktop connector, design console or PDA. Just make sure you have the right permissions.

Q. How Do I Setup the System?

Once you signup, follow a simple process that your account manager will review with you. You can also download a desktop application that allows you to make changes or add users to your system.
